How It All Began
Nova began in Long Beach, California.
Two students from Europe — Aisha and Anil — studying abroad, building their own paths.
What they noticed wasn’t fashion.
It was fatigue.
Women around them — including Aisha’s own mother and sister — struggled daily with practical modest wear. Slipping fabrics. Complicated styling. Repeating the same frustrations every morning.
Why should something worn every day feel unstable?
That question became Nova.
Not to create hype.
Not to chase aesthetics.
But to design pieces that remove unnecessary friction — and make modest living repeatable
